Additional Information:


Online registration is closed and some divisions are full.

  • Please email both partners' names and division to info@greatamericanvolleyball.com to see if we have space.
  • Please do not come to the beach without confirmation that we have a spot for your team. If your team is confirmed, both partners need to arrive before check in closes.
  • Walk on fees are listed below. We accept cash or check on the beach.
  • Your AVP membership must be active before check in.


  • NEW FOR JUNIORS 8/16!
  • All tents AND umbrellas need to be set up past the net line toward the water.
  • No tents or umbrellas may be staked in along the rows of nets.
  • You may bring a chair near a court temporarily to watch a match.
  • No one can be set up permanently between the rows of nets.
  • Everyone must be set up past the net line toward the water.
  • All tents/umbrellas need to be at least ten feet in all directions from other groups and courts.
  • Families will need to stagger because you will not all fit in one line facing the courts.
  • If a GAV staff member asks you to move, please #justbecool and do it.
  • A player will not be permitted to play if her family is not set up in the proper location or refuses to move when asked.
  • This is because of social distancing requirements that Great American Volleyball is responsible to enforce in order to operate.
  • We appreciate your cooperation so that we can continue to offer juniors divisions.

 Sunday:

  • Junior Girls 18U/16U/14U/12U
  • No Boys Divisions at this event.
  • Registration for adult divisions can be found on the GAV schedule page.

CHECK-IN LOCATION & TIME:

1 Broadway, Point Pleasant, NJ

Sunday: 8:30-9:00AM

  • Juniors-2nd Tent - use 2nd gate
  • We will not be able to accommodate players that arrive after 8:30am on Saturdays and 9:00AM on Sundays. All players (both partners) must be temp checked and signed in by 8:30. Please plan accordingly. *Beach badges are non-refundable if you are late and do not get into the tournament.*

ENTRY FEES

  • All fees are per team.
  • Entry fees do not include parking or beach access fees.
  • Juniors:
  • Early Bird (before midnight Tuesday)-$50
  • Pre-Registered (midnight Tuesday until 3PM Friday)-$50
  • Walk On (at the event)-$60


COVID19 Precautions

  • Bring your own food, water and shade! None will be provided.
  • Temperature checks and masks required at check in.
  • No tents between the rows of nets. All tents must be past the net line toward the water. All tents must be 10 feet apart. (New as of 7/18.)
  • Stay home if you are exhibiting symptoms of COVID19, have tested positive for COVID19 or have recently been exposed to COVID19.

PRIZES:

  • AVP America 2-Star Event: Bids to East Coast Championships awarded to 1st, 2nd & two 3rds in Girls 18U/16U/14U
  • GAV/Sponsor Merchandise Prizes (apparel, sunglasses, backpacks, volleyballs, etc.) to 1st, 2nd, and two 3rds
  • If you want to spend your prize points, come up to the tent after you are finished playing/reffing. If you want to save your prize points for a later date, no need to come to the tent. We will save them automatically.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Please email info@greatamericanvolleyball.com PRIOR TO 8AM the day of the tournament if you are registered but do not plan to play.
  • Any 'no shows' will be required to pay the walk on fee at the next tournament.
  • Emailing is the only acceptable form of notification. Texting friends or staff members and Facebook Messenger do not count as notification.
  • Refunds will not be given for no shows unless notification is given prior to 8am the day of the tournament.
  • A current AVP membership is required to play.
  • Any division with less than four teams may be combined with another division.
  • Boys/Girls must play in their respective divisions. Coed teams may not play in juniors divisions, but can participate in the adult coed tournament, if offered at the event.
