Divisions: Men's Open; Men's AA; Men's A; Men's B; Women's Open; Women's AA; Women's A; Women's B;

Albany Ave is south of Tropicana.

No water or shade is provided at this event.

If you email after 10:30pm we will respond at 6:30am to let you know if there is space in your team.

We are almost at capacity for this event and online registration is closed. Please email info@greatamericanvolleyball.com with your names and division to see if there is space in the tournament. Please do not come to the event without confirmation from us that we have space for your team. 

********In NJ, masks are required outside when you cannot socially distance. Please plan accordingly when you are setting up your tents and umbrellas. Masks are not required while playing, however they are required to order from the food trucks, go to the restroom and when you are at the check in/prize tent. Distancing and masks will be enforced at this event, so please #justbecool and do it so we can play volleyball. Don't congregate in groups, don't set your stuff up all together, please move your stuff if we ask you to and please wear your mask unless you're distanced. 

UPDATE: This event is now SATURDAY ONLY. No Coed or Juniors divisions on Sunday. All payments for Sunday will be refunded. 


JUST ADDED! Men’s/Women’s Open on Saturday! Both Divisions are FULL

  • Online payments accepted until 3pm Friday. 
  • After 3pm Friday, email names and division to info@greatamericanvolleyball.com to see if there is enough space for your team. Bring $75 cash or check to the beach before check in closes at 8:30am. No credit cards accepted on the beach.
  • Format: Pool play with single elimination playoffs 


Important info:

  • In lieu of a T-shirt, all entries include a voucher for use at the food trucks the day of the tournament. Vouchers can be applied to the cost of your order at one of the food trucks. 
  • Please pay attention to your email for info on where/how to check in (masks, which tent, etc.)

  • Saturday: Men’s & Women’s Open
  • Open Divisions through AVPNext on Fri/Sat - register here)
  • Sunday: SUNDAY DIVISIONS HAVE BEEN REMOVED FROM THIS EVENT.


CHECK-IN LOCATION & TIME:

Albany Avenue, Atlantic City, NJ (south of Tropicana)

Saturday: 8:00-8:30AM

Sunday: NO DIVISIONS ON SUNDAY


ENTRY FEES

All fees are per team.

Entry fees do not include parking fees.

Men’s & Women’s Open: $75

Men`s, Women`s:

Early Bird (before midnight Tuesday)-$68

Pre-Registered (midnight Tuesday until 3PM Friday)-$73

Walk On (at the event)-$78



PRIZES:

Men’s/Women’s Open: 90% payout of entry fees awarded to 1st/2nd & two 3rds

All Other Divisions: GAV/Sponsor Merchandise Prizes (apparel, sunglasses, backpacks, volleyballs, etc.) to 1st, 2nd, and two 3rds


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Please email info@greatamericanvolleyball.com PRIOR TO 8AM the day of the tournament if you are registered but do not plan to play.
  • Any 'no shows' will be required to pay the walk on fee at the next tournament.
  • Emailing is the only acceptable form of notification. Texting friends or staff members and Facebook Messenger do not count as notification.
  • Refunds will not be given for no shows unless notification is given prior to 8am the day of the tournament.
  • A current AVP membership is required to play.
  • Any division with less than four teams may be combined with another division.
  • Men's/Women's/Coed teams must play in their respective division.
