START TIMES:
First game of the session: 10 min grace, +1pt/min to opponent up to 5, forfeit. (15 min total)
Every game following: 5 min grace, +1pt/min to opponent up to 5, forfeit (10min total)
                             *This also applies to late refs- will be enforced on next game*
                                     This policy will remain throughout the tournament.

OPENRULES:
ALL teams will be required to ref at some point throughout day.
Upon completion of each match, winning team must immediately report scores to administrative team. Losing team must report to respective court, promptly, within allotted 15 warm up time for following match.
Double Elimination-unless otherwise noted
Switch sides every 7 points.
Match play: two (2) games to 21, then third to 15 (if needed)
Guaranteed two (2) matches then remainder of consolation bracket is one (1)game to 28

AA/A/BB/B RULES:
All pool play games will be self-refed until play-offs. Upon reaching playoffs, losing teams of each game will be required to ref the following game on their respective court. 
Games are to 21, cap at 25, switch sides every 7 points.
3 games pool play per team guaranteed.

COVID-19 Rules &Regulations:

·     To prevent/slow the spread of the virus through our events we are following these procedures which are aimed at keeping players at their courts and minimizing unnecessary interaction between players:

·     Registrations will be done completely online, including all payments

·     Masks are strongly suggested when not playing.

·     Anyone feeling sick as the tournament approaches is encouraged to drop out. We will provide full team credit, valid for 365 days, for anyone feeling sick.

Everyone should ask themselves these 3 questions Friday before the tournament:

1.   Have you had COVID-19 symptoms in the past 14 days?

2.   Have you tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days?

3.   Have you had close contact with any confirmed or suspected COVID-19 cases in the past 14 days?

Event operation including reporting scores, playoffs and so forth will all be done online. Links for each division will be posted on this event page prior to the tournament with court assignments. Clipboards with pools/scoring sheets will be on a tournament-by-tournament basis.

DAY OF ACTIVITIES:

·      Maintain social distancing during event

·      No hand slapping, high-fives, hand-shaking and other contact among players

·      Cough or sneeze into your elbow

·      Do not touch anything that is not your own personal property

·      Wash hands often with hot water or hand sanitizer throughout the day

·      Even though the tournament will supply hand sanitizer, it is always safest to bring your own and to use it regularly

·      Please do not gather or congregate during or after the event

·      Canopies cannot be attached to other canopies. Please leave 6 ft. between canopies. The courts will be spread out to allow for room between canopies

All players MUST have an ACTIVE membership:

Memberships are $24 online. All memberships run for 365 days from the day of purchase. Members can login using their member ID number and password to see if membership is active or inactive. All membership fees are used for the $79,000 AVP America Grand Prix systems, a National Ranking System, Regional Championships, the end of season National Championship and event liability insurance.
