Information
The AVPFirst Austin Gold will be played alongside the AVP Pro Tour event with the final of each division scheduled on stadium court. 
 
Entry
Please note entries for this event will close 4 weeks prior to the event - April 17, 2020 at 11:59pm. There are a limited number of spaces available. Final participants will be chosen after entries close and each teams' entry points are calculated by totaling the seed points of both players. These points will then be sorted into ranking order. 
 
The 18U division will have 20 teams.
 
The 16U division will have 20 teams.
 
The 14U division will have 15 teams.
 
**AVPFirst reserves the right to award wildcards to international teams at our discretion. These positions will come out of the points entries**
 
 
Venue & Format

  • For both pool play and playoffs all games will be single set to 21.
  • 16U pool play and Round of 12 will be played Friday May 15 in the evening. Quarter finals, semi finals, and finals will be played Saturday morning
  • 18U pool play, Round of 12, and Quarter Finals will be played Saturday May 16 in the evening. Semi finals and finals will be played Sunday Morning
  • 14U will start Sunday May 17 in the morning and finish same day

DRESS CODE/ATTIRE: Uniforms are not required. However, matching color bottoms and tops are encouraged. All athletes are REQUIRED to wear a top, for girls it must cover your midsection when standing, and bottoms such as spandex, shorts or leggings. No bikinis will be permitted for any team. Boys must wear tank tops or t-shirts that cover their midsection when standing and bottoms such as swim trunks, surf shorts, or volleyball shorts. No brief type swim trunks.

Terms and Conditions
After registration is closed on Friday April 17, the initial entry list will be released Monday April 20 at 12PM (PT) and the right to dispute AVP points will close on Tuesday April 21 by 12PM (PT). If more registrations have been received than positions available, teams will be sorted in order of team AVP seed points. If less registrations have been received than positions available, registration will be extended until a week prior and teams will be admitted in the order they registered irrespective of points. Any teams who do not gain a position in the tournament will have their entry fee refunded.
