There is a grass charity tourney on the same day in Ashaway, RI. We encourage you to attend this event. However, if grass just isn't for you, then join us in Westerly for beach doubles.

Beach Doubles Tournament

Checkin: 9 am

Play start: 9:30 am

Location: 90 Airport Road, Rotary Park, Westerly, RI [Across from the Westerly Airport and 90 Airport Road)

The courts are located near a nice park that does allow dogs on a leash. There are many stores nearby such as Stop and Shop and CVS for any last-minute needs. Beach traffic starts to get messy around 10-11 am.

 
Adult Tourney Cost: $50 per team check or cash

Junior Tourney Cost: $40 per team, check or cash

Junior clubs that bring more than 5 teams representing the club earn a $10 per team discount.

Checks can be made out to Westerly Volleyball Association

Format: Round robin pool play followed by playoffs. If time and court space allow, every effort is made to advance every team to a play-off round.

Prize Information:

Adults

1rst: Cash and swag

2nd: swag (assuming at least a 3-team play-off)

3^rd:Selected swag (assuming larger than 5 team play-off)

Juniors

1^st – Medaland swag of choice

2^nd –Medal andselected swag

3^rd - Medal

Remember, when you support WVA you are supporting a volunteer, non-paid group, to raise funds for the Rotary Park courts and leagues and tourneys funding.
