This event will fill up. All teams must be prepaid so that we can make sure every team will show up.
Pool sheets will be made up on Friday.
All teams should arrive on time Saturday morning because we will be ready to start on time: 8:30 first serve for open divisions, 9:15 for other divisions
 
Sat. Men & Women`s Open Divisions: Qualifier for Big Shot Championships in AC (9/16-17/2017)

Sunday: New England Junior Regional Championships
Winners of GU18, GU16 & GU14 divisions will win bids to the Volley America Junior Nationals
Bid includes: free entry + hotel for 2 nights.
ALL PLAYERS ARE ELIGIBLE TO PLAY IN VA JUNIOR NATIONALS Aug. 4-5 in Atlantic City.

Times:

• Saturday: Open divisions 8 am, other divisions 8:30 am
• Sunday: 9 - 9:30 am for all divisions
• MO & WO Semifinals & Finals may be played on Sunday

Notes:

• Divisions with less than 8 teams may be merged with other divisions at tournament director`s discretion
• Merged divisions will still have playoffs for championship pool pts. All divisions receive Volley America Grand Prix Pts
• Prizes awarded to top 4 teams in each division (3 teams in divisions with less than 8 teams)

• MO: $1,500 + AC room
• WO: $1,500 + AC room
• MAA/WAA/CAA: 1st $150/team, 2nd $100/team
• Junior Bid Winners: free entry to VA Junior Nationals + $200/player travel expenses
• All Other Divisions: Merchandise prizes
  
  Prize Money Breakdown
  

Format:

• Double Elimination Crossover for Men`s & Women`s Open
• Pool play in all other divisions, followed by single elim playoffs

Fees: NO CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED ON THE BEACH

• $10 late fee for any team that pays on the beach
• $100 for MO & WO
• $60 for all other divisions

Volley America Membership required for all players. Memberships are $15/player ($20 if done at the beach).  All memberships run for a year from the day of purchase. Membership fees will be used to fund the $40,000 Beach Grand Prix,$10,000 Grass Grand Prix, Junior Grand Prix, a National Ranking System, Regional Championships, National Championships and event liability insurance coverage.
