7th Annual Ethan Demmers Coed 6s Tournament


Come out to Long Beach Saturday July 31st for our 7th Annual Ethan Demmers 6s Tournament! Ethan is a 12 year old Superman! He was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy back in 2014. All proceeds go directly to the Demmers family in order to support them in their battle against DMD. 

To register: Team captains send an email to sarah.eevb@gmail.com listing your captain’s name & best number to contact you, team name, and (if you paid via zelle or venmo) a screenshot of your payment. Cash or check can be paid on the beach. 

Times: Check-in 9-9:30am, play starts at 10am. 
Divisions: Coed 6s, must have minimum 2 women
Prizes: Merchandise prizes for 1st & 2nd
Fees: $100/team

Beach Pass: EEVB offers $10 day passes/person. Passes can be obtained for $10/pass through EEVB if reserved by Thursday at 12 pm. You must be there by 9:15 am Sunday to claim reserved passes. After that time we will sell them on a first-come first-served basis.







Directions:
From Long Island: Southern State Pkwy to Meadowbrook Pkwy south to Loop Pkwy. Right at end onto Lido Blvd (changes to Park Ave) Left at Laurelton Blvd to ocean, free parking. From Verrazano Bridge: Take Belt Parkway (Shore Pkwy) east towards Eastern LI and JFK airport. Near airport get off at Nassau Expressway (Rte 878) exit. Take Nassau Expressway, which becomes Rockaway Blvd (Follow signs for Long Beach or Atlantic Beach Bridge) to Rte 878. Go over Atlantic Beach Bridge and make left onto Park St/Beech St. Go through commercial section and make right on New York Ave. Make left on Broadway. Go 1.5 miles to Laurelton Blvd. Make right to event site at boardwalk. By Train: LIRR to Long Beach. Leaving the station go across Park Ave. right, make left on Laurelton Blvd. and walk south towards Ocean. Enter beach at Laurelton Blvd. from the boardwalk.
