Location: Albany Ave, Atlantic City, NJ

Divisions: Girls 18U, 16U, 14U & 12U and Boys 18U, 16U & 14U

• This is a bid-only event! (except for Boys 12U)
• Teams are not required to have earned a bid together, but one partner must have a bid in order to compete
• Bids are not age specific. Players can compete in any age group as long as they have not aged out based on our Junior Age Requirements.

Junior Age Requirements: Players will be required to compete in their respective divisions at the time of the event (see Junior Age Requirements, which update on 9/1 every year)

Athlete Requirements: Active AVP Gold Membership

Entry Fee:

• Girls 18U, 16U & 14U (3-day event): $300/team
• Boys 18, 16 & 14U (2-day event): $200/team
• Boys & Girls 12U (2-day event): $150/team

Format:

• All games are match play throughout the tournament including Pool Play and Playoff Brackets
• Match Play: Best 2 out of 3 (2 games to 21 points, 3rd game to 15 points if necessary)

Wave 1: Start Time: 8 am

• ALL Boys + Girls 14U & 12U

Wave 2: Start Time: 2 pm

• Girls 18U + 16U

Day 2: Thursday, July 22

Wave 1: Start Time: 8 am

• ALL Boys + Girls 12u - Playoffs
• Girls 14u - Reseeded Pool Play to determine Bracket Play (Gold/Silver)

Wave 2: Start Time 2 pm

• Girls 16u + Girls 18u
• Reseeded Pool Play to determine Bracket Play (Gold/Silver)

Day 3: Friday, July 23

• Start Time: 9:00am
• Girls 18u, 16u + 14u: Single Elimination Playoff Brackets & Finals

Bids: Dual bids are awarded to 1st-5th place teams in all divisions for East & West Coast Championships!

Awards Ceremony:

• Young Gun Awards: (all Athletes of the Week are automatically nominated!): Athletes MUST be in attendance in order to receive the award
• Eric Zaun Scholarship Award: $1,000 awarded to a 2021 high school graduate in honor of the late Eric Zaun.  This award is determined by the AVP America Committee.
• Club Director of the Year: Determined by the AVP America Committee

Dress Code: 

• Uniforms are not required, however, matching color tops and bottoms are encouraged.
• All athletes are required to wear a top that covers your midriff while standing and full coverage bottoms.

Coaches:

Check-in: coaches will report to the AVP Staff tent to check-in each day 

Coaches Meeting:  Led by Head AVP Official, John King on Wednesday at 7:30am and 1:00pm near Center Court.

• Make sure you know the Coaching Rules that were included in the AVP America Coaching Pass.
• Wear your credentials! All coaches that are certified to coach at Beach Week must have their credentials on to coach (wristband & badge).
