TOURNAMENT LAYOUT SATURDAY, June 18th Men`s and Women`s 2’s Open, AA, A and BB divisions (one day tournament) Check-In: 9:00 - 9:30am EST, Start Time: 10:00am EST (warm up ends and games begin) Men`s and Women`s 2’s Open divisions entry is $100.00 per team. Volley America points and Cash Prizes. Men`s and Women`s 2’s AA, A and BB divisions entry is $70.00 per team - Volley America Points and Prizes. SUNDAY, June 19th Jr`s 12`s 14`s 16`s and 18`s divisions. Coed 2’s, AA, A and BB divisions (one day tournament) Check-In: 9:00 - 9:30am EST, Start Time: 10:00am EST (warm up ends and games begin) Jr`s and Men`s and Women`s Coed 2’s AA, A and BB Divisions, $70 per team - Volley America points and prizes. ***Registered Teams will be added and updated periodically starting 1 week before the event*** PLAYERS PARTY!!! Saturday Night at 7pm: Players Party for all players and fans at The Undertow Beach Bar. The players will receive free draft beer. Sunset, Music and drink specials! FORMAT Pool play followed by Single Elimination Playoffs. Divisions may be combined. Coed 4s teams must have one female on the court for every point. RULES Spalding Beach Volleyball will be used with beach volleyball rules; contact with any part of the net is a net violation. A block counts as 1 of your team’s 3 contacts. 4’s divisions are allowed 3 touches after a block touch. After a simultaneous joust, 3 more contacts are allowed. No open hand tips, no open hand serve receive. Please promote clean handsets, and call hands tight. ABOUT THE ROCKSTAR BEACH VOLLEYBALL TOUR Our primary aim is to support beach volleyball events that engage families, fans, athletes, students, communities and sponsors in a great day at the beach. At each event, spectators will not only see elite athletes compete on the sand for top honors, they also have the chance to interact with the pros by participating in contests and promotions at hosting venues. Tour events channel local resources and draw all participants together, benefiting the entire community.
