Additional Information:

Teams will be seeded using AVP points for pool play. After pool play, teams reseeded for bracket play.

If a division has less than 4 teams, they may be merged with another division.

Early Registration ends one week before the event. Those that register early and pay will receive a free tee-shirt and discounted registration fee.

**Our goal is to provide players with the most volleyball we can, while still wrapping up the finals around 5:00PM

AVP AMERICA

AVP America requires participants to have an active AVP silver level membership in order to complete in AVP America sanctioned events. https://avp.com/membership/

AVP America is the largest grassroots outdoor volleyball organization in the United States. Currently, AVP America is comprised of over 180+ organizations and over 45,000 players.

TOURNAMENT VENUE (2705 Kanasita Drive, Hixson, TN 37343)

XSV Beach is located in Chattanooga at a private 4 court facility. There are several great fast casual restaurants located minutes from the venue including: Chick-fil-A, Starbucks and more.

Please park in the designated areas. For our larger events, consider carpooling please.

We have a warm shower and a cold hose available to shower off sand and sweat.

WEATHER

We play through rain and pause for lightning. Should weather become too extreme, we reserve the right to cancel or postpone an event.

If the event is canceled before game play starts, each team will receive a 100% refund of their registration fee.
If the event is canceled after game play starts, each team will receive a 50% refund of their registration fee.
If the event is canceled after pool play is complete, cash and prizes will be divided among teams that are still active.

CONCESSIONS

We have cold drinks, ice, and snacks for sale as well as merchandise from XSV, AVP, Wilson and more.

DOGS

Dogs are not allowed. Sorry, we love them too, but the risk of injury to the players and the dogs are too high. Also, many players play barefoot and no one wants to step in dog pee or poop.

REFUND POLICY

Refunds are managed by the PLAYER/GUARDIAN until the refund cutoff date and time (generally the a couple days before the event). Log in to your Volleyball Life account or click the link in your confirmation email to initiate a refund.
No refunds will be issued after the cutoff date and time.
Credit card/platform fees are non-refundable

COACHES/COACHING

We encourage your parents, family and friends to come cheer for you and to watch you play. However, there is no coaching allowed during game play from parents or spectators. This includes instructions of any kind (e.g. get your serve in, move your feet, etc.)

Sideline coaching will result in a loss the point and if it continues the loss of the set.

Additionally, parents and spectators may not influence or question the official's judgment at any time.

If your team has a TSSAA, USAV or AVP registered coach that carries current IMPACT and Safesport certifications they are allowed to coach you as long as they check-in during registration for their wristband/badge and follow USAV outdoor coaching rules.
