THE SANDBOX is proud to announce the 2015 Beach Volleyball Junior Tournament Series, taking place this summer at Esker Point beach in Groton, CT. Here’s what you need to know to get in the game...

NOTE: New to 2015 ... all registering teams MUST have two (2) Players listed, and BOTH Players MUST have a VALID Volley America membership, at the time of registration. Any team registered as a 1-Player team (no Player 2 listed), or any team registered with Player(s) not having a valid Volley America membership, will be removed from the Entry List without notice or recourse.

- $60* per team
- $15** annual Volley America membership required for each participant.
* price includes $10 discount for online registration and payment. On-site / day-of event registration fee is $70
** price includes $5 discount for online membership purchase. On-site / day-of annual membership fee is $20

DATES:
- Sunday June 28th 2015 - 9am to 5pm (Esker Point Beach, Groton CT)
- Sunday July 26th 2015 - 9am to 5pm (Esker Point Beach, Groton CT)

FORMAT:
- Doubles (2X2) - Boys and Girls.
- Pool play with single elimination finals.

DIVISIONS*:
Minimum of 4 teams per age division
- Girls 18U
- Boys 18U
- Girls 16U
- Boys 16U
- Girls 14U
- Boys 14U
- Girls 12U
- Boys 12U
*Divisions may be combined at the discretion of the tournament coordinator.
* Tournament seeding base on Volley America National Ranking System.

SCHEDULE:

8:15 am – All division checkin
9:00 am - 1st match start
2:00 pm – estimated time that some nets will be available for pickup play
4:00 pm – estimated time that final matches will occur

NUMBER OF TEAMS:
- Esker Point Beach, 10 teams maximum per division
- Divisions filled on first-come, first-served basis
- Advance registration is HIGHLY recommended!
- Walk-ons will be accommodated as able.

PRIZES:
-Grand Prix Points: earn points all season toards end of season prices. Check volleyamerica.com for those prizes

Directions:

From Groton: Take Route 1 towards Mystic at top of hill bear right onto Route 215. Esker Point Beach is approximately 1.5 miles on the right, parking lot is on the left. From Mystic: Take Route 1 towards Groton at top of hill turn left onto Route 215. Esker Point Beach is approximately 1.5 miles on the right, parking lot is on the left. From I-95 N & S: Exit 88 South on Route 117. Left onto Route 1. At top of hill bear right onto Route 215. Esker Point Beach is approximately 1.5 miles on the right, parking lot is on the left.
