Volley America SE Championships

Men`s & Women`s Open, AA & A win trip to VA Nationals in Clearwater Beach, FL 10/24-25 *

 

OPEN TEAMS MUST PRE-REGISTER and prepay at the end of the registration process

 

Times:

  • Saturday: Open divisions 8 am, other divisions 8:30 am

  • Sunday: 9 - 9:30, play to 6 pm

Address: PLease note new site/address:  The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, 1410 N Ocean Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577 next to Bandito`s Restaurant just north of the Pier

Divisions: Divisions in red will offer prize money. Men`s Open semifinals and finals will be held on Sunday starting at 1 pm. MAA & WAA finals on Sunday at 11 am.

  • Saturday: MO, WO, MAA, MA, MB, WAA, WA, WB
  • Sunday: CAA, CA, CB

Notes:

  • Divisions with less than 8 teams may be merged with other divisions at tournament director`s discretion
  • Merged divisions will still have playoffs for championship pool pts. MO, MAA, MA, MB, WO, WAA, WA, WB receive EEVB Volley America Grand Prix Pts
  • Prizes awarded to top 4 teams in each division (3 teams in divisions with less than 8 teams)

Prize Money:

MO: $1,500 + trip to Nationals*

WO: $750 + trip to Nationals*

MAA & WAA: trip to Nationals*

MA & WA: trip to Nationals*

  • *Nationals Trip: Win travel $200 towards travel expenses and 2 nights in host hotel plus entry fee into the tournament. Trip must be used for current year`s tournament, may be transferred to another player in same division

Prize Money Breakdown

Format:

  • Double elimination Cross Over: Men’s Open & Women’s Open
  • All other divisions: Pool play, followed by single elimination playoffs
  • Women’s Open semis & finals will be held Saturday night if possible. Men’s Open semis and finals will be Sunday

Fees:

  • $10 late fee for any team that pays on the beach
  • MO & WO: $100
  • $60 for all other divisions

Saturday Night Player`s Party: Bandito`s restaurant Every player receives 2 complimentary beers plus a $5 food coupon. Party starts at &;30, please plan on attending

Volley America Membership required for all players. $15/player ($20 if done at the beach) All memberships run from 1/1 to 12/31 or the calendar year. Membership fees will be used to fund the $35,000 Grand Prix for all same sex & coed divisions, a National Ranking System, end of season championships and insurance coverage.

*Rates apply for group reservations 3 days prior to and past the above event dates*

• Rates are based on 2 adults per bedroom. Add $12.20 per night for each additional person eighteen (18) and over.

• The above rates do not include state, local taxes or applicable hospitality and resort charges, currently at 23.2%.

• An access charge of $2.26 per night has been applied to the guest reservation and includes free local calls, as well as toll free numbers, unlimited use of personal in-room safe.
