Junior Girls 18U, 16U & 14U win $200/player travel expense reimbursement to VA Nationals***

Open Divisions: Big Money Tournament in Newport, RI & Virginia Beach, VA

OPEN TEAMS MUST PRE-REGISTER and then pre-pay at the end of the registration process

Times:

• Saturday: Open divisions 8 am, other divisions 8:30 am

• Sunday: 9 - 9:30 am for all divisions

Notes:

• Divisions with less than 8 teams may be merged with other divisions at tournament director`s discretion
• Merged divisions will still have playoffs for championship pool pts. MO, MAA, MA, MB, WO, WAA, WA, WB receive EEVB Volley America Grand Prix Pts
• Prizes awarded to top 4 teams in each division (3 teams in divisions with less than 8 teams)

Fees:

• $10 late fee for any team that pays on the beach
• $60 for all divisions
• $25 for MA, MB, WA, WB, CA & CB divisions if prepaid by Thursday midnight before tournament

• ***Junior Travel Expense reimbursement:
  Regionals give away free entry fee into Volley America Junior
  Nationals. VA will reimburse players up to $200/player who submit
  travel expenses after the event for actual and necessary travel,
  room and board expenses for the player only. Expenses for parents
  and coaches are not included in the reimbursement

Volley America Membership required for all players. $15/player ($20 if done at the beach) All memberships run from 1/1 to 12/31 or the calendar year. Membership fees will be used to fund the $35,000 Grand Prix for all same sex & coed divisions, a National Ranking System, end of season championships and insurance coverage.

Beach Passes are required for all activities on Long Beach

You can reserve one from EEVB for $8 (normally $12 if bought at the beach pass booth) by going to the event payment site as long as you order it by Thursday midnight.

1. sending an email to mary.caulson@gmail.com by Thursday midnight.

2. Include date/event you need the pass

3. Bring the $8 fee in exact change to registration by 8:30 am tournament before the ticket booth opens. No one will be permitted on the beach without a beach pass, not even if you pre-purchased it from us. You will have to get someone with a valid pass to pick up your pass from EEVB if you arrive after the booth opens.

We do not always have enough passes for everyone and can pick up more on Fridays as long as we know how many are required. Any orders placed after Thursday may subject you to pay the full $12 price at the beach ramp booth.

You must pick it up pre-ordered passes on the beach by 8:30 am  Anyone who arrives before the booth opens must go to the booth when it opens to purchase a pass at $12. Anyone without a pass is subject to a $50 fine plus expulsion from the beach. There was such a check on Sunday June 21 and we were able to get permission for those players to just purchase a pass on the spot and not be expelled from the beach. We were informed that this is the last time this will happen.
