OPEN TEAMS MUST PRE-REGISTER and then pre-pay on the link at the end of registration process

Times: Saturday: Open teams check in at 8 am, other divisions check in at 8:30 am

Sunday: check in 9 to 9:30 am, play to 6 pm

Merged divisions will still have playoff for Championship Pool pts. MO, MAA, MA, MB, WO, WAA, WA receive EEVB Volley America Grand Prix Pts.

Prize Money Breakdown

Format: Double elimination Cross Over: Men’s Open & Women’s Open

All other divisions: Pool play, followed by single elimination playoffs.

Open semis & finals will be held Sunday if they cannot be completed on Saturday. The goal is to run Women`s pen finals Saturday evening on center court and men`s finals Sunday at noon.

Fees: $10 late fee for any team that pays on the beach

MO & WO: $100

$60 All other divisions

Juniors $60/team

 

Volley America membership required for all players: $15/player ($20 if done at the beach). All memberships run from 1/1 to 12/31 of the calendar year. membership fees will be used to fund $35,000 Grand Prix for all same sex & coed divisions, National Ranking System, end of season championships and insurance coverage.

 

Directions: I 75 to exit 205, west on Rte 72 (Clark Rd) over Stickney Pt Rd Bridge, right on Midnight Pass Rd, left at fork onto Beach Rd to Siesta Beach on left

Tournament Day Procedures

Collegiate Divisions:

NCSVA Collegiate Divisions

• Male and female teams compete to win a trip to the World Series of Beach Volleyball in Long Beach, CA on July 24, 2014
  • The NCSVA Collegiate Championships will be held along side the FIVB Grand Slam and World Series. The volleyball festival will include the International 6man and 4man; youth championships and music festival. All televised on NBC!
• Winners at the Siesta Key, FL April 27 (Sunday) and the Long Beach, NY June 22 (Sunday) Qualifier events receive $400/player travel stipend and automatic berth into the July 24th NCSVA Collegiate Championships
• Top 4 teams in each Qualifier event receive berths into National Championships
• Additional entry into National Championships can be obtained by earning points by competing in multiple qualifers
• In order for the stipends to be awarded minimum 8 teams must be signed up for the division. PLEASE REGSITER EARLY TO HELP REACH THAT GUARANTEE # SOON.
• Tournament will be pool play followed by single elimination playoffs
• ELIGIBILITY for Qualifier events:
  • Teams may consist of players from the different schools
  • Any student who attended, currently attends or is enrolled to attend during the current year.  Incoming freshman and recent grads are eligible.
